Lot of International Medical Graduates want to practice medicine in the US. But most of them have no idea about the process. I have realized that most International Medical Graduates only focus on their tests and they isolate themselves from other IMGs, because they feel that they are competing against each others. It is true that the competition is hard. But it is a different type of competition. As IMGs, we do not have to keep secret want we know. We have to share what we learn in this process with others. We have to generate a sharing culture between IMGs. I read this last week:
"I was fortunate to have had a friend who was traversing the intricacies of the process before me and gave me some guidance. One of my future goals is to someday be able to create that roadmap for future IMGs so they can avoid wasting precious time and money."(Winnie Gandingco, MD)
